Since 2019, Yanibes Foundation has been training, empowering and supporting interns and emerging professionals through hands-on experience within international film, cultural and creative-industry events.

Whether remotely or on site, participants can develop practical skills across communications, social media, business development, industry and community outreach, guest relations, programming,

partnerships, event production and on-site logistics.

 

Volunteers and interns receive an official certificate of participation and may have opportunities to contribute to other Yanibes Foundation programmes, including AfroToronto, AfroCannes and AfroBerlin.

Our Yanibes Mentorship Program further connects emerging professionals and interns with experienced industry practitioners, providing guidance, professional networking and support in developing their careers, including access to job opportunities, internships, collaborations and industry connections where available.
