Become a Speaker

AfroToronto brings together filmmakers, creatives, industry leaders, cultural practitioners, entrepreneurs and thought leaders from Canada, Africa and the international creative industries for meaningful conversations during the TIFF period.

We invite professionals with relevant expertise, experience or perspectives to submit their profile and indicate the sessions or themes they would be interested in contributing to. Selected speakers will be matched with the most relevant conversations within the programme.

What to Expect

• Panel or session confirmation following profile review

• Introduction to your moderator and fellow speakers once your session is confirmed

• Speaker social media assets and promotional visibility

• Inclusion in relevant event and programme communications

• A speaker guidelines book with all key information ahead of the event

• Speaker badge provided upon arrival at the venue

AfroToronto is also part of the wider Yanibes Foundation international platform, creating opportunities for continued engagement across AfroToronto, AfroCannes, AfroBerlin and future programmes.

Submit your profile below and tell us where your voice can contribute to the conversation.
